Drive ‘em for a while

Markquart is committed to the very best in customer service. One way we show this to our customers is by offering loaners to qualifying customers when they are in for repairs in our Eau Claire service department or for a collision repair in our body shop.

Our loaner vehicles are equipped with all the popular options you would expect to find in our regular new vehicle inventory.

Buy ‘em for less

They look like new! They smell like new! After the vehicle has been in the rental program for at least 90 days and has at least 2,000 miles it will be added back to the sales inventory. They qualify for almost all the new vehicle rebates and financing! Yet you can buy them for a nice discount over a similar new vehicle.

Will you qualify?

Customers need to be 21 with proof of insurance and show us their valid driver's license. We recommend contacting your insurance agent to make sure you are covered for rental/alternate transportation. We do offer alternative transportation coverage for no less than $55 a day if you are not already covered by your insurance. You also need to appear capable of operating the vehicle in a safe and proper manner.
We reserve the right to withhold these privileges from any customer that we believe will not use the vehicle in accordance with our program parameters.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

We have a fleet of 60-80 vehicles in the rental program at any one time. The vehicles are allocated to service, and body shop customers based on demand. We can meet the needs of most of our customers most of the time, but occasional shortages do occur. Ask your service advisor or body shop personnel about availability.

You will be required to sign a rental contract before you leave with the vehicle and there is a 100 mile limit in a 24 hour period. You are responsible for the gas you use, insurance coverage, and any damages to the vehicle while in your possession. You are expected to return the vehicle promptly after the completion of your service or repair so the vehicle is available for our other customers. If you keep the vehicle longer than agreed you will be charged for the extra time.

CUSTOMER SERVICE PRIORITY

In our service department, we have many loaners but not enough to have a loaner for everyone. Generally speaking, we give priority to customers who need them the most. Examples of customers who are considered for a high-priority loaner are: customers who need large repairs, customers who need repairs that take several days due to parts, customer satisfaction situations, and business people who need flexible transportation in order to make appointments.

We offer the waiting room or our free shuttle service for customers with repairs under two hours or for customers whose situation would allow them to get by without a vehicle. If you meet this description but need a vehicle, work with your service advisor or management to come to an acceptable arrangement. We appreciate your business and want to make sure you are completely satisfied with your experience.

In either case, buying your vehicle at Markquart can be a determining factor during times of high demand.

WHAT ARE THE CUSTOMER'S RESPONSIBILITIES?

There are some common sense responsibilities for the customer when they drive one of our loaners. First of all, you are responsible to replace the gas you use while you are driving the vehicle. The tank will be full when you leave and there are several gas stations very close to the dealership you can use to top off the tank when you return the vehicle. Second, because we need to eventually offer these vehicles for sale, we prohibit smoking, pets, and towing. You are required to have proper insurance coverage and are responsible for any accidents or damage to the vehicle while it is in your possession. Finally, you are required to bring the vehicle back promptly at the agreed-upon time after the repair is completed. If you keep the vehicle longer than agreed you will be charged for the extra time.

If you have any questions or concerns about these expectations don't hesitate to talk to a manager for more information.
